Hello everyone

wanted to send out an update on me and also go over a few things.

First of all if anyone is interested there will be a parade at the Riverside plaza this Friday eve. staging time is 5 30 pm. it is the Christmas parade and from what i have been told it will have a marching band and other things to escort Santa to the Plaza. anyway i got a call yesterday asking if anyone wanted to walk their pups in the parade. they would like to have some dogs join it. You don't have to dress up unless you want to or if you are really good on short notice you can do a small float to pull your pups in :)

anyway if any one is interested in doing the parade pleas email me so we know ho many are coming.

OK now on to the rest of this email

I wanted to let you know that Bandit playing last Sunday, blew out his knee cap and has been on complete rest for the past week and half. we go see an orthopedic surgeon on Fri to find out if he will need knee surgery. If he does we are looking at 6-8 weeks of down time for him. so to say the least he will not be attending any playdays for awhile if that happens.

I want to apologize for not having any playdays lately. but to be perfect honest i have been a little burned out. I have been running this group now for about 5 years completely on my own covering most of the expenses myself out of my own. When i would ask for help setting up for an event i would get 1 or maybe 2 people say they would show up early to help. I really appreciated their help.

the 1 dollar donation i ask for at each Meetup does not com close to covering the expenses i put out i pay 20.00 a month just to have the site. i was getting in maybe 5 dollars a month in donations. plus any other things i bought all door prizes and most of the food at our events was covered by myself and one other person (cept at the potlucks).

OK here is what i am looking for i really need some help to make this group fun again. i would love to have one or two asst organizers to help with the group and getting and keeping the message board going.

I would love to have some event planners to help plan and organize events. this could be done for one event only or as many as you wanted to run.

i also need your input as to what you would like to do with this group. what are some of the things you would like to see us do. Your input is very much needed and appreciated.

I would really like to get together once before the holidays. i was kinda hoping we could go someplace and have a nice lunch with our dogs. so that Bandit could come along to. he would either be in his stroller or his wagon.
if you have any ideas where we could go for a lunch with our pups please let me know.
