In July we will be walking Tuesdays and start 7pm. Let's get ourselves and our doggies in shape for the summer and the pool. :D (maybe even that pool pawty). This will be the last month we will be doing the Mt. Rubidoux walks. I will be putting them on hiatus during the hot summer months.

Let's enjoy the outdoors with our doggies and get some exercise too. We will hike to the top of Mt Rubidoux taking the gentle paved path by way of the 9th Street gate.

Me and my pupsters are out of shape, so we will be setting a slow pace. Folks more fit can feel free to set their own pace or take a harder trail.

Directions: Directions to trailhead: From the Pomona Freeway (60) in Riverside, exit on Market Street and proceed east into downtown. Turn west (right) on Mission Inn Avenue and drive 7 blocks to Redwood Drive. Turn left and head 2 blocks to 9th Street, turn right and continue 2 more blocks to the distinct trailhead (gated Mt. Rubidoux Drive) on the left.

From the Riverside Freeway (91) in Riverside, exit on University Avenue and head west through downtown to Redwood Drive. Turn left, travel one block, then turn right on 9th Street. Proceed two more blocks to this hike’s start on the left.

There is parallel parking on 9th Street.

Note: Please plan on arriving 10 minutes early. We will be heading up the trail promptly at 7:00pm.

In case of rain, the walk will be cancelled. If I have zero "Yes" RSVPs and only "Maybe", the walk will be cancelled. I don't want to fight the traffic to walk by myself. :D If you have any questions, feel free to text me. I send out my cell phone # to "Yes" and "Maybe" RSVPs, one day before the event.
