Fun time!

My daughter & I had never been there so we arrived early. At 9:30 am we left the park to drive around the perimeter of the park & came across those we were to meet. I'd brought 3 foster chihuahuas along with my own 2 (F) Miniature Pinschers & 9 yr old (F) tiny Toy Poodle. The park was beautiful and we had a delightful time walking & chatting together. The park was a reasonably easy walk even with my asthma. We stopped when our dogs wanted a short rest & then again started forward towards our ending area. I understand it was only 3/4 mile walk but was fairly level with lots of trees. We came early enough that it wasn't too warm either. I was grateful to finally see my car even though I enjoyed myself.

It was fun. Even though it was way hot! And for some mysterious reason Jimmy's Diner was closed so we relocated to the Alibi.

Anisette says she loves Mt. Rubidoux . . . she walked her little four paws off .. . she was moving so fast. Must have thought her kibble was waiting for her. Good walk. Nice temps and a good workout for both of us and the folks who made it.

Mt. Rubidoux is always a nice walk. And at 8:30 it was still cool enough and easy to find parking. Plus fewer people on the hill.

All the Ladies were very nice and their doggies were ready to play with ours. Frankie especially had a great time with Molly. Frankie hopes to see her again at the next Meetup. Daisy enjoyed herself too.

The weather was perfect for walking up Mt. Rubidoux. And I think I finished in record time for me . . . even with me having to carry Anisette a bit. Looking forward to more of these walks. It was nice to get back into the swing of things.

I was the only one from our group. I got lost because the map that they gave me was very confusing. I did not see any route markers at all. Walked for an hour in the wrong direction then turned around and went back. We got in our 3 miles but although it is always nice walking with my dogs, it would have been nice if I could have found the right way to walk.

It got a bit windy but it was fun to get out and exercise the pupsters.
