American Volksport Association is an organization that promotes exercise and fitness through non-competitive volksporting event. The AVA's network o f 305 Walking Clubs organize more than 3\,000 walking events as well as occ asional bikes\, skis\, and swims every year in most of our 50 states. All e vents are open to the public. http://www.ava.org/... The local AVA club o rganizing this walk is the Green Valley Gaiters. If you want to walk as a group with me\, we will be starting at 9am. The group walk will be the 5k walk. But if you feel like doing the 10k walk instead\, feel free to do so. If you feel like walking at a different time\, see the information below. Each participant will have to fill out a card for the AVA prior to the wal k. They use the card to check you back in when you return\, to verify you g ot the checkpoint question right and to make sure you return from the walk ok (and they don't have to look for you).
